Set-Piece Analyst & Coach Club NXT U23

To help us achieve our ambitions, we are looking for a talented Set-Piece Analyst & Coach with strong football expertise to join Club NXT U23. As Set-Piece Analyst & Coach, you will be responsible for the analysis, preparation and further development of our attacking and defensive set-pieces. You will combine a strong analytical foundation with coaching responsibilities: analysing patterns and opportunities, translating them into clear agreements and concrete training exercises, and coaching their execution on the pitch.

• You will analyse the attacking and defensive set-pieces of Club NXT U23 and our opponents using video and data.

• You will identify patterns, opportunities and vulnerabilities, and translate them into clear and applicable insights for players and staff.

• You will prepare set-pieces for matches, including corners, free kicks and other restart situations.

• You will develop and coach set-piece exercises on the training pitch and monitor the execution of agreed principles and routines.

• You will work closely with the other coaches, analysts and players, ensuring that information is delivered on time, accurately and in line with the team’s needs.

• You will evaluate the execution of set-pieces during matches and training sessions, using these insights to continuously adjust and improve our approach.

• You will be responsible for the further development of set-pieces within Club NXT U23 and will contribute to sharing knowledge, principles and best practices across Club Brugge, Club NXT & Academy, and Club YLA & Academy.

• You have a proactive attitude, take initiative and actively contribute ideas on how to further improve both the set-piece approach and the broader analysis process.

• You are eager to learn, open to feedback and ambitious about continuously developing yourself.

• You can work independently, while also thriving within a multidisciplinary team. You are communicative, discreet and reliable. You understand that working in a high-performance sports environment requires flexibility and that deadlines are often tight.

• You are analytical, structured and precise. You are able to process large amounts of information and reduce them to their essence. You know which information is relevant for players and can communicate complex insights in a simple and visually clear way.

• You have strong football knowledge and a particular interest in set-pieces. You understand the tactical principles behind attacking and defensive set-pieces and can recognise recurring patterns in team and player behaviour.

• You are able to translate analysis into concrete training exercises, coaching and clear agreements on the pitch.

• You are familiar with video and data analysis, preferably also with relevant analysis platforms and data tools. Experience with software such as Hudl Sportscode, Wyscout, Studio or similar tools is considered an asset.
